The Flying Circus sets new date to take off

Now it's official: the Monty Python troupe will perform on stage at the O2 Arena in London on July 1, 2014. The flying circus clowns promise a show containing some of their best hits “with a modern, topical, Pythonesque twist.”

The Pythons outlined their plans in a press conference in London yesterday (Thursday) under the banner “Monty Python Live (mostly)” with an image of a giant foot in a grave-yard, and the motto: “One down, five to go.” Graham Chapman, the sixth member of the comedy troupe, died in 1989.

Tickets to the live show will cost from £26.50 ($42.73) to £95 ($153), and will go on sale on Nov. 25. More information is available at montypythonlive.com. There are no plans to tour the show as yet but the show will be filmed and released on DVD.

Agora é oficial: a trupe de Monty Python irá se apresentar no palco da O2 Arena em Londres no dia 1 de julho de 2014. Os palhaços do circo voador prometem um show com alguns de seus maiores sucessos "de um jeito moderno, interessante e Pythonesco."

Os Pythons descreveram seus planos em uma conferência de imprensa, em Londres, na última quinta-feira sob o banner “Monty Python Live (mostly)” com a imagem de um enorme pé em um cemitério e a frase: “One down, five to go.” Graham Chapman, o sexto membro da trupe, faleceu em 1989.
