Aerialism: Head in the Clouds, Feet on the Ground

Aeon Audiovisual is now flying high. Or hanging high. Well, it all depends on your point of view.

Carla Carvalho, an young prodigy of the acrobatic arts has given us the opportunity to create and produce her next aerialistic performance for the stage. Aerialism involves acrobatic performances in the air with a suspended apparatus such as a trapeze, rope, cloud swing, aerial cradle, aerial silk and aerial hoop.

The possibilities fascinated us. And on to research we go. Curiosity is a key word for us.

But don't hide your mind under the circus tent, guys. Aerialism explores several other concepts.  And one of the most perfect examples is The Slipper Room. Located in New York City's Lower East Side, it's an amazing venue for performance artists to showcase their work and to nurture emerging talent, pushing performers to reach their true potential.

Wait for good things to come, folks.

Wait, are we at the Moulin Rouge?!
